In the spirit of saying “Yes” to opportunities and events out of my depth, I have agreed to be a speaker for the Perfectly Imperfect Digital Parenting Event next month. All the details are below. I remember thinking and sharing out loud along the way that I would never speak on marriage or parenting because I am no expert and I fall and fail all day every day. The only thing I feel qualified to share is on what NOT to do. I’ve got barrels of advice there!
So in the midst of life turned upside down, I am currently all jumbled inside and out. So what better time to dip my toes into an area I have lived experience and no formulas. I’m nervous, dependent, and cautious to join this incredible line up of speakers. Please join us and feel free to forward this post to your friends who are parents. The advantage of a digital event is that people can watch on their own time and replay topics and have a resource for longer than the two day event. The investment of $49 for over 50 talks by some seasoned leaders is a great deal. Hope you’ll check it out. You can find more information and register HERE.
One of the life lessons I’m taking away from this overwhelming and never-in-a-million-years-would-i-have-imagined season is not to wait to get all parts of my life together before trying new things and taking steps towards scary opportunities. Holding onto the truth that imperfect is perfectly okay and God uses those available, not the perfect.
with love,
